Greenspoint Area Chapter is selling a "fill-in-the-blanks" outline for recording the business sessions at the 2012 T-L Division Annual Meeting, hosted by Clear Lake/NASA Area Chapter. It is an invaluable tool for delegates, alternates and members to take notes of the business sessions and activities. Mail your check for $10.00 payable to GAC/IAAP to Kaye Pittman, CAP-OM, 307 Bickett Lane, Spring, TX 77373.  Upon receipt, the outline will be emailed to the email address provided. 

EFAM Update. Mark your calendars while you are making your plans to attend EFAM. The T-L Division photo is scheduled for Sunday, July 22nd at 3:30pm. We are also working on the T-L Division dinner plans which will be either Monday or Tuesday evening - more details to follow.

Update on Houston Area Certification Study Group. Because all members of the study group are testing in November, they decided to postpone the meetings until August. North Tarrant Bluebonnet Chapter is proud to offer its highly successful Technology Workshop on PowerPoint 2010 with instructor Teresa Dickinson at TCC Northwest Campus on May 5. FUND RAISERS

 

Greenspoint Area Chapter will sell Business Meeting Outlines for the Texas-Louisiana Division Annual Meeting. An order form will be sent to all chapter presidents via email and hard copies will be available at the meeting.  The cost is $10 per copy.

 

The chapter also plans to sell raffle tickets to win a Chocolate Cargo Bag.  Tickets will cost $2.00 each or ten tickets for $5.00.  Come see them in the Hospitality area.

COE DEADLINES

 

FY2011-2012

 

May 2012 Chapter sends a delegate or submits a proxy to the 2012 Division Annual Meeting. Bonnie House, CAP-OM, division secretary bohouse@ducoinc.com and the 2012 AM Credentials Committee will track this action item. (COE requirement #6)

 

June 1, 2012: deadline to submit Membership Drive Evaluation Form to Carla Flowers, CPS/CAP, division president cflowers@denco.org. Chapter must hold at least one membership drive between July 1 and May 31 of the current IAAP fiscal year. (COE requirement #3)

 

June 25, 2012: deadline to hold at least one new member orientation and submit New Member Orientation Evaluation Form to Carla Flowers, CAP-OM, division president cflowers@denco.org or. New members in attendance must have joined IAAP within the current IAAP fiscal year. (COE requirement #4)

 

June 30, 2012 – At least 7% of the chapter members (minimum of 2 members) qualify for Member of Excellence. (COE requirement #8). Headquarters will track.

FY2012-2013

July 2012: deadline TBD by IAAP HQ – chapter sends a delegate or submits a proxy to the International Education Form and Annual Meeting in Grapevine, Texas. This will count for IAAP fiscal year 2012-2013. (COE Requirement #7). Headquarters will track.
